fatboy wheel
im going to install a solid fatboy rear wheel on my 01 standard! is there anything i need to know about with this swap!! also the wheel looks the same from side to side soo how do i know which way the wheel goes on!! dumb questions, but i wanna be sure!!

yeah, your stock spacers will not fit, neither will the spacers for a fat boy. i did the same thing to my night train and tried them both. i ended up going to a shop and having spacers cut to fit this mod. also, you won't be able to run your stock front fender, well, i suppose you could, but it will be sitting about 1.5 inches from your tire and will look pretty goofy. i just took my fender off. looks better that way, anyway. i never tried a fatboy fender, so you can try it if that's what you're looking for.
the brake side should have the mounting holes exposed. the right side will be covered by a little, cheap looking cover. that's how i distinguished the two, on mine. good luck!

The wheel should bolt right up using the stock rear spacers off your FXST as long as the wheel is off a 00-06 Fat Boy
