Thundermax - advice running O2 wires - '07 heritage
I just rec'd a Thundermax and I'm attempting the install my self on an '07 Heritage with D&D Fatcats (still trying to find the time to get this accomplished ).
Couple of questions:
For those of you who have done this on a softail how'd you run the wires for the O2 sensors?
What base map have you found to work best for you?

I ran the rear O2 wire exactly like the original. The front I ran through the battery box, down along the frame on the exhaust side and connected them to the frame with cable ties. I have run map 394 and map 350. I have Rush 1.75 slip on muffler and a Ness Big Sucker AC.

I ran the cables in the same general routing as the stock sensors but made sure they were not directly on any heat source and wire tied them so they would not vibrate or rub against anything. As far as the mapping, give TMax a call and they will suggest the closest match to your set up -pipes, air cleaner,etc... Good luck and you made a good choice with the TMax.
