we have a big ride on the weekend and I haven't the time to fix them prior.Do you guys believe it would be safe enough to ride for 1000 km's.(600 miles)

I wouldn't...something caused those 2to break, which has already weakened your wheel. Are you a betting man? Breaking down that far from home would really suck.... but the choice is yours.

I wouldn't risk it. You'll would probibly worry about it the whole trip instead of enjoying your ride.

Exactly!!!
Besides you may have more wrong with the wheel then you can see just looking at it.
Like the man said, breaking down far from home would really suck.Having it come apart at50+MPH would suck even more.
Play it safe and get it in to the dealer or a good indy shop and have them check it out properly. With a little luck you might have it back in time for the ride. If not, don't worry, I’m sure its not going to be the last one.
But if it came apart at speed it could be the last one you have on that bike for quite some time.
Besides if I was going on the same ride I might be sorry you missed it, but I would much rather youstayed home and got your bike fixed properly.
In a group formation any bike that has that kind of catastrophic failure in a wheel has thepotential to take out more than just that one bike.

I wouldn't ride it but I hope you'll post the outcome of this if you get it repaired rather than peplaced.
I bet some other spokes are stressed.

I'd be to embarassed to even ask that question. Why gamble with your life over a weekend ride?

Get it fixed and check your spokes periodically.

Yup, like others are saying: Don't ride it; REPLACE the wheel, don't just fix the broken spokes.

You have all sorts of constant stresses being distributed all around the spokes. Like helixhippie just said, there are probably other spokes on there getting ready to go.

There are dozens of little gremlins just waiting for you to be slightly out of town on that wheel now.
