Default Two Questions

# 1
Are there any after market passenger seats available for the Deluxe? The dealer want $179.00 which seems high to me. I realize this is the case in most circumstances but before I shell out the cash I would like to know if there are any other decent options out there. The stock passenger seat is not going to work for my better half.

#2
Are there any aftermarket or options for a set of passenger floorboards for the Deluxe? Again the dealer says I need to change out brackets and all for the tune of around $250.00. I don't need the large floorboards just something a little larger the standard foot pegs. Does anyone know if there are any "wider" pegs that will use current brackets? Thanks everyone. I appreciate all feedback.

#1. The softail is probably Harleys biggest seller. There are a ton of softail seats out there that will fit your bike, including Harley, Corbin, Mustang, LePierre (sp). Call any of them and tell them what model you have and they will be able to help you. The price you stated is about as cheap as you are gonna find though. You can also look on Ebay. They usually have a good selection. I've bought 2 seats for my glide there and saved a bunch.

#2. Check Kuryakyn for your rear pegs or floorboards.

Good Luck

Dealer says deluxe is a different seat mount than other FL softails.

Corbin has some on their site.

Sidewinder,

Yes there are tons of other options. Yes E-bay is a good place to start. It really depends on what you want your bike to look like. I went with "HD nastaligic" floor boards with matching shiter pegs, brake pedal, and my passanger pegs are HD as well. Unfortunattly if you want HD items your going to have to part with some $$. The same is true with the "Named Brand" after market. Bottom line you get what you pay for, and its your bike.

Will a Fat Boy rear seat fit a deluxe? I thought the drivers seat on the deluxe would interfere with any other. If so there are some options on Ebay. I looked at your photo alblum, I like what you have done. All I really have left to do is the rear seat and pass pegs/ boards. What are you using for pass pegs? You are right, it is my bike so I need to stop worrying about cost and just do what is best!!!
