My wife wanted to start riding 2up with me so I sold my Vulcan 750 and bought an 03 FLHTCUI. We've done a few 200-300 mile days and she likes it. Other than low speed maneuvers, I am pretty comfortable with her on. She is comfortable except that her knees hurt from being stuck in the same position. I have heard about adjustable passenger pegs, but dont know much about them. Are they any ones out there you guys would recommend? My wife is 5'8" Thanks
There are peg adjustment factory on my Glide I can only guess you can do the same on your bike. I also know that the search engine might help with questions/answers previously posted on any questions you have and the site sponcers are worth going through to find products wanted for your ride. I am sure if you ask you local dealer they will gladly show you what you are looking for but shop around $$ online for the same product.
Kuryakyn makes some adjustable pegs that move into several different positions. I have them for my son who rides on the back with me because they adjust straight up so his feet rest on the peg and not the floorboard. HD now makes a very similiar version to the Kury ones, but they are considerable more money because they do not include the peg, just the adjustable arms only.
check on ebay you can get the adj pegs for alot less than the dealer, and they are the same!! I made the mistake of buying my at the dealer, paid more than double. they are well worth the money, wife can use the floorboards and they are two positions you can use the others.
If you look at floorboards instead of pegs for the passenger it will allow her to move her feet around enough that she an maybe be more comfortable. Another thing is to make sure that the pegs are moved to the lowest position so she can stretch out a bit more. That helped my wife a lot.

Yeah, I always do a search before starting a new thread. Didn't find any on passenger pegs.
Did the Ultra not come with floorboards? I know the boards on my 09 have a couple of positions but have to be removed to change. On the other hand have her wrap her legs around your waist. LOL

Lol
Well, maybe I didn't make myself clear in my original post. It's not that the peg position is that uncomfortable, it is the lack of variety I was hoping to improve. I wanted something you could change quickly when you stop for gas, or to stretch. I didn't realize stock position could be change. Maybe I'll check that.
