go to your local HD dealer - tell the nice man what color you want, sign your name several times, wait 30 minutes... then go outside, get on it and ride home!!

2008 pewter pearl never had one was told they are tractors its the best buy I have ever made.

Comfortable pulls like a train only dislike is one front stopper.
Looked at a twin colour 2007 roadking and though about trading her in until I went home and looked at her in the garage (shes a piece of art) and whent for a fast ride.
This is a very capable usable machine get one you wont be dissapointed.

 

Went into the dealer, looked at a really ugly one that was in my price range. The wife took one look and said "what do you want with that thing?!?"
Next to it was a real beauty. Its now in my garage!!

Maybe its a good thing to take the wife along!!

Took er indoors to the dealer as well, was looking at a Spotster1200 because of the cost.
she said what do you want that for and pointed at a dyner street bob sying thats what a harley should look like.
I ended up bying a new Fat boy.

Buyers market right now..tons of bikes.. Look for something with low milage and be willing to drive a coupla hundred miles and you can save a bunch. Warranty transfers in about 2 minutes at any dealer. Let someone else take that initial "hit" of buying new. Most times youcan also find something with stage 1 and some chrome goodies for far less than "out the door" at dealer. Just be sure to compare prices with "out the door prices"and not base price at dealer.
