what a great thread. I have been looking for a set of apes for a while now. Really want 12". Here is mt issue. My bike is an 01 Deuce. I cannot eam to find a set of bars that are under 8" center (10" overall width) width in 1 1/4 dia. I have seen several apes on Deuce's but can't get over how the bars are wider than the triple trees. Not an attractive IMO.

Thy Khrome Werks. Their apes are narrower in the center I believe. Also, Hill Country Customs have narrow apes that have a narrower center. One more is Flanders bars, although you'll need risers to fit a 1 1/4 inch diameter center for their bars.
