Is it just me, or do others also think that 1" 1/4" chub apes don't look like "apes"? Never liked the shape myself. Classic 1" is where it's at for me.

Hmmm...look like apes to me, maybe apes on steroids, but apes nonetheless.

14' Nash gimps now. Thinking about going with 18sand different risers though.
darkside:
Do you like the comfort of the Nash Gimps? Do the bend angles of the bars seem to be okay on your wrists? Did your Nash bars come with the wiring holes already in them or did you have to put them in?
Thanks,
Denis
I love these bars. They are very comfortable and the bends are just fine.I ordered mine with the holes for the internal wiring. It's a little tough making the bend at the bottom but definitally doable. The only problem is these bars didn't come knurled(they want you to buy their knurled risers[:@]).I took a cold chisel and put some ridges on the riser clamps and everything is holding fine though.

Thanks for the info. I bet they get a good chunk of change for their risers too. I think I may get these. I keep tossing back and forth from the carlini fly'in apes, and these. I do like the look of these, just wasn't sure on the comfort of them.
Did you get them already powdered black or did you have someone do it for you. Was the black glossy or semi-gloss? My deluxe is now all gloss black powdered (complete front end parts). I may buy them raw and have them powdered to ensure the match.
