[:@]Any one having trouble with there state getting on bikers , Just put the rush 2.0 on my bike and now i hear that ny and ct are both setting up blocks for bikes and makeing people re inspect their bikes besides giveing them tickets. Seems theres a lot of money to be made . Was told i could pack them , can anyone tell me whats invalved in doing that. Thanks
I've got older Screamin' Eagle II's that sound nice, but I'm keeping the original pipes in case of an equipment violation. No annual inspections on motorcycles in Kalifornia yet, but you never know what will get into the environmental nabobs.
That really sucks. What's more annoying...a little souped up Mitsubishi with 15" subwoofers playing Cra...I mean Rap, or the sound of American thunder.
I don't think you have to worry about the loud exhaust, they will probably stop you because it is illegal to ride a Harley with that outfit on.

ROTFLMAO! Now that was very funny!
Sarg67,
Don't be alarmed. There are numerous states and local towns all fooling around with existing and new ordinances regarding exhaust sound levels. Thereare numerous mis-managed clauses and loopholes that any half-decent lawyer will have a field day with.
This topic comes up often on various forums; my take is wait and see.
I'm not sure but I think here in Jersey they don't bother you unless you're running open pipes. But that's probably only because the lawmakers haven't come up with acceptable noise level limits yet. I'm sure it's coming. You have maniacs causing carnage on the highways everyday and they're going to have cops going around with decibel meters giving out tickets for loud mufflers. Strange world.
Just joking about your picture with the 3 year old all dressed up in his riding gear.
My exhaust is loud, but they don't seem to enforce any type of noise restrictions, as of yet,in my part of Florida. One of the reasons I have not changed exhausts systems is, if I geta new exhaust, it still may not meet regulations, if they start pushing for more noise restriction laws here.
Figure I might as well keep what I got and see how things go here.
