I aggree with George C, when you get H-D stuff It fits and works.
I use to send stock stuff out to be chromed, (96-up) About 50% of the ft. master cyl. would not pump-up after they came back.
The aftermarket stuff for 95 and down should be OK (H-D dont sell that stuff anyway, so you must buy aftermarket or chrome yours).
The last stuff I sent out to Graves (2 1/2 mo. ago) came back 3 weeks ago, the price had inceased to the level of the price of new stuff from H-D (2 inner primerys cost $540, thats $270 each plus S&H, H-D primarys are $269.95). I did call and was told eveyting from chemical to fuel cost had increased, O ya the heracains, war & 911 are still in play.
I'm going to look for A new chromer A Cinncinati this year.

I have used them on several bikes and think they are fine. The fit is OK and they are much cheaper than H-D. The only thing I don't like about them is the throttle tensioner. It is a little **** and can be difficult to turn, not like the star wheel on the H-D ones.
As far as H-D's parts. I have gotten some really poor quality "genuineH-D" parts.

I was comparing the mounting screw location on the ebay ones vs the MoCo.
I think the ebay ones leave some to be desired with the design, but for the cost difference I might be able to overlook it.

Sorry, can't help with the switch covers. As far as parts there are some great companies besides HD putting out some great quality products. There are products that are equal, worse, and better then what HD makes. With HD you are paying a premium for the name. There are many great aftermarket products. You could stand knee-deep in parts catalogs and there are all levels of quality in there. There is no such thing as HD vs. aftermarket. There are good companies and bad companies and to group them all together as 'aftermarket' wouldn't be right. That's just my .02 on parts

I bought Custom Chrome controls on Ebay from http://stores.ebay.com/AMERICANCLASS...S-610-754-8500
and only paid $120 + $13 shipping. That was about $300 or so less than buying the moco's brand. I'm putting them on now and I don't see anything wrong with them at all. Everything looks good and fits well. I think the moco's might fit just a tad better, but I can't tell for sure because I'm also changing handlebars to Wild1's and don't know how the factory ones would fit on them. But I'm happy for saving $300 and can use that elsewhere.

i buy tons of stuff on ebay and yes i bought the chrome switch setup on ebay, but i bought the whole setup, chrome housings with black switches and they come with 4 feet of wire, to feed through the handel bars. they have been working great for over a year now. by the way i got them for the buy-it-now price of $86.00 plus shipping, that was for both sides.

I just got a set for christmas and ordered them from J&P cycles. They look awsome but I had to get out the grinder to make them fit perfect. I had recently upgraded the bars to Drag bars and the original housings never fit good after the bar swap. When I started puting on the chrome controls and housings I made the necessary changes to insure a perfect fit.

Bought 2 sets, one for each bike (at 2 different times) off ebay. One set has the "Hidden" mounting screw (2nd screw for the top switch housing is under the Master cylinder mount) so that it is not visible. The other set has the screw on top of the switch housing where it is visible. If possible ask if you can't tell from the pictures. I like the look of the "hidden" mounting screw better. Paid $110 for one and $120 for the other (with shipping). They look great and cost a LOT LESS than HD.
