Default Help with Deuce tie-down points in trailer

So I'm strapping down the bikes yesterday in the trailer. I have Pingel chocks up front and tie downs off the bars. Then I move to the back. I go through the holes in the rear wheel of my Springer to tie off the wheel on both sides so the a$$ end doesn't bounce around when moving. Then I go through the same process with the Deuce. That is, until I get to the rear wheel - DOH! It's solid.

Deuce owners, when you are trailering your bike, what are you using as anchor points for the rear end? The exhaust is in the way on one side. The other side isn't much better. This is a solo bike so I can't use the backrest because its not there.

Thanks for suggestions and pearls of wisdom from experience.

I go through the swing arm, keeps thebike snug. I had to have my dealer pick the bike up(too much snow on the ground to ride it to the dealer) and that's how they did it too.

I put a D ring directly below the pulley. Then I loop through the pulley with a thick nylon strap with velcro.Just pull it snug and the rear end never moves.

I knew I'd catch flak for even mentioning a trailer.

I had one of my Sportys bounce into the wall once. Ever since I have had a phobia of leaving the rear end free.
