Softail tank lift
I've searched and read all the tank lift threads but still did not come up with a clear answer yet.
Can I install a 2" tank lift on an 06 Softail Standard and if so will I need to lengthen any of the hoses? If I do not need longer hoses, I will fab up the brackets myself and save a few bucks. Any input and or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Are you going for a "Chopper Style" look with your tank? What I'm trying to say is, is your tank going to be mounted higher in the front than in the back? If so, there is plenty of space on stock hoses and such. My bikes(2000 H-D) hoses/wires/ect.. had a decent amount of length when I pulled my tank off. Double check with your dealer, but I'm pretty sure you'll be OK, especially when we're talking only two inches.
