OK, been trying to get the trottle cable adjustment right on my bike now for the last couple of days. I've only been able to tweak it in my lunch hour at work before the long ride home again.
I am almost there, but it's just a little off. I adjust it one way then the other, re calibrating the fuelpak after every adjustment.
When I say it's a little off, here is an example of what I mean: Say your coming up to a right handcorner and you slow down and shift into 2nd. Normally I would be able to go around the corner, open the throttle and away we would go. But it laggs a little as if it wants to stall.
Now, is there a magic rule of thumb or proceedure that gets the cables spot on first time or does everyone find themselves tweaking these cables for a while till things are right.
I dropped in a K&N filter when I serviced the bike, anyone know if this breathes more than the s/eagle one. If so will this have an adverse affect on the throttle set up?

Cheers,

I think there may be a little bit difference on the positive side, but the IMO (and a lot of people here), the SE AC is a piece of shiete. Mine failed, read broke down, at around 900 kms. Replaced it with a K&N and no worries since. I thought that only the blue rubber onesfailed, but I was proved wrong. The K&N is a great deal better.
