Default Lifting the fat boy

i have a 500kg bike lift used it for my AJS.
want to used it on the fat boy but is it safe to lift with the shockers underneath

Lifting on the shocks is not recommended (although done). Best cut a piece of radiator hose to fit over the frame rails by the shocks so that the load is on the frame rails not the shocks. BTW - H-D makes orange frame protector that do the same thing but split radiator hose works fine too.

I have the HD protectors and they work great. Just use a hacksaw to custom fit them to the frame.

I have the orange HD Frame Protectors also and they work great.
I tried thehacksaw to custom fit them to the frame,
but it was a lot easier when I switched to a razer knife (box cutter).
