Getting ready to do a Chrome Fork install on my Deluxe. Just some quick questions..
I am going to replace the Upper Slider Covers (Cow Bells) as well. Do I need to remove the Headlight assembly to do this? Looks like it's one bolt mountingunderneath. Also are the electrical connectors under the gas tank?
I think I have everything I need as far as tools. Read a ton of posts here and everywhere about it.
You need to remove the tins to see what`s what.Headlight maybe. You have to get to the pinch bolts which if I remember correctly come in from the front. The cow bells mt. bolts come down thru the bottom tree. The connections are under the tank, but if your just swapping out the lower legs and the bells you shouldn`t have to do any electrical.Loosen the pinches ,drop the tubes down, replace bells, swap out the lowers and your done. Not a big job at all.Good Luck,Toby
