BINGO toby!!Lower treeis bent.Now i'm in the market for one.I guess I overlooked the obvious.Oh,also,the one brief moment I took my eyes off the road...... blam!!! A blue hair decides to make a panic stop.Can't really blame her,it was my f.up for following too close

Well that explains it, but I gotta think you had to do more thanjust "tweek" the tubes if you bent the lower tree. I wonder if you didn't tweek the lower tree, but bent the shaft inside the steering head instead. Seems that it would be a lot easier to bend that than the tree itself.

going out and tear things apart as we speak,maybe the shaft is bent ,will find out.I got thinking about that inverted fork set -up that harley has,it's a good looking outfit.
