I was at the International Motorcycle show in NYC on Friday and they had two Rockers. I was not impressed! The speedo on top of the gas tank looks stupid and mounting a luggage rack or bags for a weekend trip would look awefull!
Are you sure the rockers are going to be shipped in February? Are you sure they fixed all the probelms that MOCO has been having with them? Are you sure you are going to like the way it rides? If you can answer Yes to these and many other questions that have come up about this bike then buy the damn thing, if it ever gets here. If not, buy the train. Just my .02
The problem with getting a new harley is that you basically know you are going to change a ton of it anyway. So the factory should sell bikes as basic rollers with painted frames and choice of color(determined by you).Delete the followingipes, air cleaner, bars, mirrors, signals, headlights, seat, footp eg(boards),dash, ignition module,.I`m sure I left out something. And,you should be able to get ANY current motor in production in your scoot. And you should only pay for the components you want. When I take over the moco it will be this way! Can`t wait Huh!It sucks that you pay big money for a bike that you (some)will have to re-do anyway.Maybe they should have called it the Crock-er!Sorry,winter is too long already and it only started a week ago.HNY,Toby
Get the night train. At least you know it works. The resale value of the 08 Rocker's will not be good, due to the precieved, and real issues with this 1st year. Why be part of the HD beta program for 08? Plus with the extra dough you save between MSRP on the two, you can dress up the Train real nice.

Thought to chime in....as I continue to be a fan of the softies....& at one time really desired a NT ...and think its an awesome looking bike.
But when I first saw a pic of theRocker I wanted one, so I went tothe local stealer to seeit.
Informedthey won't be in 'till after the new year, so I said point me to the NT.
Badazz bike, really dug it, but wanted to think about it....NT or Rocker (??)
Noticed & liked the Fat Bob (meaty frnt tire, etc) so I got me one......for now.
But I really like the look of the Rocker.
