I think it was the valve guide seals and I used about a quart between oil changes (4000km), it was never pulled apart so I cannot be 100% sure. I took it back to the dealer while it was still under warranty and wasn't using as much then but was told it was nothing to worry about. Sucked when my previous 10 year old EVO didn't use a drop.
