Another laydown mount can be found on www.billetboys.com website. They make one from a solid billet block. Top quality stuff, and some of their prices show it...
i used the backer plate mount from the drag lay down plate and the Kuryakyn curved frame to make mine up. the backer plate on the drag one is easy to bend to fit the Kuryakyn frame . i like it because it contours to the shape of the fender i think in the end i spent about $100.00 but it think it was worth it for the nice finished look it also sits closer to the fender
commander112 I bought the Kuryakyn lay down curved plate holder it comes with the curved frame the mount would not fit the deluxe it was made for the other style mount not the tombstone. all i did was bend the drag backer plate mount which is not that thick.I placed it over a round post and bent it a little at a time until it had the same contour bolted it together with the curved frame and that was it I purchased it at eastern proformance cycle here it is http://www.easternperformance.com/in...oducts_id=1208
The $85.00 price includes the mounting block, the chrome billet backing plate and front frame and acorn nuts. Chrome billet, very high quality. No bending, drilling, etc. Just bolt it on. I was looking at the "curved" also but went with this one. It hugs the fender nicely and don't miss the curved one.
