Default Lose bolt's

Has anyone taken some bolts off and noticed they were lose, like hand tight! i just replaced my fender strut bolts with chrome and they almost fell out! i put locktite on the new ones, but that scares me about the rest of the bolts....[:-]

Welcome to da world of vibratin' Milwaukee Iron! And no matter what brand bike you ride, it's a good idea to go over the fasteners every now & then. You'll learn which ones are prone to loosen up, which ones might need some LocTite, and which ones flat out need replacin'.

I replace most of my fasteners with stainless steel, and everything gets a flatwasher, lockwasher, and LocTite.

You use the Blue or Red locktite? My tins are being painted now and I am definitely using the stuff when mounting them back on.

Blue on most stuff. Red on the rear belt pulley and brake rotor. Red requires heat to loosen most times.

I use blue on 1/4" and down, red on everthing else.
Anti-seize on spark plugs, (steel to alum) cal. pins.
Invest in A manual, all of the spec. are in there.
Torque stuff also
