Default 1" risers question

Are risers on most bikes interchangable? I mean between years and models. I'm looking to change out the risers on my 07 fatty because I need ones that fit 1" bars. I'm just not sure if the riser off of say a 2000 fatboy would fit on my 2007. Thank you in advance for any help. And if anyone has any they're looking to get rid of pm me.

I don't know about all Harley's but I am rather certain they would be interchangeable. Check the Harley site, and you should be able to figure it out.

what was the last year of the 1" bars on the fatboy? 2006? I'd like to stay the same rise as the stock risers. I think they're 2". I'm guessing the softail standard and night train are higher than that. Any help? Harley site sucks for researching older stock parts.

Unfortunately I don't recall what Fatboy risers I got to put on my Deluxe. They are for a 1" bar. Try looking on ebay and seeing if anyone has them for sale, I am sure they will mention what size bar they take.

I got mine on ebay with handle bars for $20.

I checked ebay. Most are taller than I'd like. I like the look of the stock risers. I was thinking of the riser adapters from Wild 1. Has anyone used these? How do they look?

I have had 3 types of risers on my bike, the original 4 inch pullbacks, 4 inch tall boys, and now I have the 1 inch to fit my Wild1 RG bars. I've used HD risers with no problem. Wild1 chubbys usually have the handlebars grooved down so you can use your orginal risers (1 inch).

Yeah, the bars I bought are 1" at the risers, but I was told that the 2007 fatboy risers are 1.25". So I need 1" risers, or the adapters form wild 1. I'm just not sure how the adapters look, and what year the fatboy went to the 1.25" risers.

I think the fatboy switched to the larger risers on the 07 model. Wild1 should be able to assist you.
