I think this would apply to an '08 as well. I'm looking to add a pullback riser to the bars of a fatboy when I purchase in Oct. I would like to do this at purchase but I'm having a really hard time finding risers that are listed for the fatboy stock bars. Does anyone know or have a link to somewhere I can buy some? I'm looking for maybe a couple of inces up and couple back.
Also, some risers I find mention the bar width. What is the width on a fatboy bar?
Any links to what I'm talking about would be GREATLY appricated!! THANK!
Man, that's what it was looking like to me too! ...I thought I just wasn't looking in the right place. ...oh well, that Street Slammer bar is looking good though! Ya know, I'll prolly just get used to stock and tweak from there.
I have learned the hard way to read these ads very carefully. Bottom line (for me) is that no one (yet) is making pull-back risers for the true 1 1/4" diameter handlebars.
I'm looking for an inch or two taller, and maybe two inches back. I think stock cables will handle that.
I bought some 4 1/2 rise 1 1/2 pullbacks for $40 from JP Cycles for my 02 that has 1 inch bars and it does hit the sweet spot. Somebody could make some serious money if they made them for 07 & 08's.
