Searching for a used Softail Deluxe, I stumbled into this Heritage with custom paint that I really like. Problem: 16,000mi on an '06....more than I like on a 2 year old bike. But I dig the paint job! Still haven't closed the door on this beauty.
Look what I found!!! 2002 Model, also HD Limited Edition Paint. Hard to describe the color, but definitely very cool and very vintage. Picking it up tomorrow.
Sounds like the guy bought it to ride somplace other than to the dealer on Sat. If it were a car it would be 30K. Take a look at other indicators other than the tripmeter.
Looks like a great ride!
If possible check out service records... if it has been done through local stealer or indy or of owner can show maintenance.
Some people would stear clear of a used bike however, if you are able to confirm that it has had good care, then why not. I'd rather have a bike that has had good care and riden than one that has sat with dirty oil in it and had not been maintained.
Just my 2 cents.
Bike has chrome front end, Stage I w/Rineharts (or SE) chrome handlebar kit,few xtra chrome pieces. Asking price 16,900. I'd consider buying at $15.5---$16.
$16,900 would be top dollar for that bike. Shop around and I'm sure you will finda bike you like with less miles and maybe a year newer for that price.
