Congrats on the new ride. My dad bought an 08 heritage back in october and ive ridden it a few times. It is a very nice ride. Post up some pics when ya get a chance
Isn't that the truth though?
You get a total woody for something, then ride it (drive it, whatever) and it's like . . .
"Well that wasn't so great . . . Next."
or just make what you have work for you . . . and most likely you'll still have something nice.
Sometimes not. It's all in what you want.
the seats seem fine so far but i will eventually upgrade .how is this mean city cycles seats.anyone have theirs done from them.?a soft plush comfortable seat is always a plus.if anyone had theirs done how much of a dfference did it make?
Congratulations on the new ride. As was stated above, the touring pillion is a good choice. Also a set of rear floorboards make it better for the passenger. For long trips, you could throw on a sheepskin like RDKingRider has.
I went with the HD seat because it had studding to match the front seat. ( it's not on in the picture below, but it is in my avatar)
Glad you got to take them both out and bought the one that was for you.
you done your home work and it paid off. i always say never make a quick move get it right the first time and there is no subsistute for first hand info like riding both bikes. every one who owns a bike will endorse the model most of the time unless they made a big mistake. so when you ask about a model your going to hear every thing good about it and it may be rightly so for him or her. schools out now its time to ride good luck with the new ride
