I picked up my Rocker today and put 60 miles on it before it got too cold. I was impressed with the way the bike handles and the engine/trans performance was superb. I think the bike looks lots better in the flesh. The color is very vivid and the metallic paint really shimmers. The flames are actually multicolor and look hand done (which they are probably not, but they have a good machine doing the job). The chrome is flawless and looks to be of very high quality. Overall the bike design is very clean. I am very happy with mine overall.
now, while waiting for my big bore kit they(dealership) PDI my bike(i guess thats prepping it?) they now have found a scratch on the rear pully, a scratch on the swingarm, a scratch on the tank and a scratch on the tank console plate/pannel. they put all on order. i dont think i'll ever get this bike..
i agree with jackusan, been riding my rocker c all weekend. perfect handling, can't even feel the wide tire setup it is so well balanced. i got mine on friday.. crimson red.
Congrats on the new Bike.Happy to see some pics outside. It does look better outside.
I joined today to try to find out any Pros or Cons to the Rocker C. I stopped and seen one here in Mn after work and I still do not
know whether I can trade my 05 RK classic in for a measly 13K to start a loan again. Anyone have more than 500 miles on one ?
Saw my first one in person at Seacoast Harley yesterday...... beyond ugly..... beyond coyote ugly! I like if from the tank forward, but the fit and finish on that rear fender was real bad. The welds looked like a blind amputee did 'em! That seat and gaping hole underneath looks like someone just gave up trying to design anything and cobbed up whatever they had lying around. The paint on the swingarm was actually orange peeled!!!!!I can hear my Harely stock sinking!!! Don't think we can take another hit after the '07 tranny deal!!! God, I was so hoping this bikewasn't going to suck this bad......
REAR FENDER IS STAINLESS STEEL, NOT FIBERGLASS, WHICH IS WHY A MAGNET WON'T STICK TO IT.
i also asked my parts and service people at the dealership about the rear fender being fiberglass, they said it was not fiberglass, said it was a 2 part fender with the inner being the reinforcement.
