Default Tank Capacity

After adding 95"HC kit mpg is down to 35. Ordered SE6 spd. tranny. But what we really need from Milwaukee is a 6 gal. or bigger tank option for serious touring. Thoughts?

There's 6 and 7 gallon tanks available in the aftermarket if you need the range. If you google it, you'll come up with quite a few.

Thanks for the advice. Would be more confident of fit/finish/quality from OEM.

Look carefully at those larger tanks. If your bike is newer than 2000, there are very few available out there. I've got the same problem and will probably go with the modified bracket and 2-piece style tanks that CCI offers. I plan on concaving the sides in and still want to keep my fuel capacity around 5 gallons.
