Default please help

I posted yesterday that I bought a 99 road king fuel injected tank to put on a 2000. I was looking at my service manuel and my bike today. The tank looks like it will work, but there are some slight differences. My bike has the quick disconnect for the fuel and return lines, the 99 tank dosent. The 99 tank has hard lines to come from the opening of the ports so the quick fitting wont fit in. The 2000 tank has flexable gas lines in the tank. The 99 tank has a weird bracket inside the tank where the backbone sits, is this bracket going to affect anything? What would be the easiest and cheapest fix for this problem? Any tips would be greatly helpful, thanks!
