Default finding the right bars for my deluxe

Hi,

I just can't get comfortable on my deluxe and besides the seatI figured out that it is the position I sit atwith the bars. The Heritage feels great when I sit on it so I am leaning towards some type of ape setup or a bar setup silmilar to the heritage in size. This is going to be a costly upgrade because I will at the same time switch to ss braided cables and chrome controls and levers.

Anybody have a recommendation on a setup. I already have a new set of risers on hand that eliminate the4-6 inch rise and pullback standard on the deluxe. Also, any recommendations on how to properly size up the cables for the type of bar I get. I am running out of time before Daytona and am planning to do the upgrade myself. Any advice would be appreciated.

My recommendation, a set of 14" apes (chuby wild ones) and a set of +8 cables, all with 2" risers. Check out Chrome Lady's ride:

She has no more neck pain and loves the feel.

Good luck!

OK, so I decided on the 14" Carlini Flyin Apes. Next challenge is finding the right size cables. Dealer was saying that some of the cables may need to be custom made. Also, does anyone know if the stock shield will work with this setup or will they hit?
