RE: 1999 softail custom oil drain plug - where is it??
If you look at the bottom of the oil tank there is a rubberhose leading from it to the frame. Follow the hose and you will find that it is attatched to the R/H side of the frame below the oil tank. The dain plug is actually in the frame and you get at it from underneath the bike.You will need a socket to remove the drain plug as it's recessed in the frame - from memory I think it's 5/16 but I might be wrong on that one!!
