Default s/e slip on exhuast

I have a 06 carb. softail standard and was wondering how much of a sound difference the s/e slip on exhuast would make and would I have to rejet. Thanks.

I had the SEII on my Fatboy. The sound was great and was about as loud as some V&H shorties. I am pretty sure you will need to make an adjustment to your mapping if FI.

I have an 06 Heritage Classic and I made the mistake of buying the SE mufflers. They are not much louder than the stock muffler. If you buy make sure they are the SEII slip ons. After my experience I am going to buy the Vance & Hines staggered big shots. In the long run I think this is the best buy with the best sound.

I have Screaming Eagle II's on my 05 Heritage and love them, they are not too loud until ya get on it and they have a nice low rumble to them, they seem to be getting better with time!!!

The SE2 pipes and/or Slip-Ons are killer!
Both are way better than stock. It will make your bike sound the way a Harley should.

I was thinking of the SE 2 slip ons or the V&H Big Shots Staggered. Since I have the Carburetor will I have to rejet on the SE 2 Slip ons. Thanks

I have the 05' fxsti with SE2's w/o the stage1 upgrade and they sound great. I don't know about carbed models but the fi's you just bolt them on and go. The SE2's are not in the Big Wish Book, you need to look in SE Pro Racing Parts catalog. Bob

You should not have to do anything to the FI "IF" the air cleaner is the stock one. Air going into the motor is the biggest choke on these bikes. I ran mine for a year with SE2's and a stock air cleaner, and had no problems. If you upgrade the air cleaner you will need to do a download/SERT/PC3 upgrade.

I noticed a big difference when I added the SEII to the Fatboy. It actually sounds like a Harley now. You will probably want to have the card re-jetted. The Fatboy stalls once and a while because it's so lean.
