What is the biggest rear tire I can fit under my 04 Heritage? The 140/90/16 has an overall height of 25.92". Will the 150/80/16 fit? What's the largest you all have been able to fit under our bike?
not to be a dick or anything, but a 150 tire is only 10mm bigger than your 140. thats about the width of 2 pencils. You really not going to notice it too much especially with a full rear fender on a Herritage

Oh no...I get it...I'm trying to find out the larges I can go..without completely screwing up things. I do realize that it's not much bigger
thank you...that helped quite a bit. However, that chart shows that my bike will take all the way up to a 190? Wow....that's a bigger tire than I thought would go in there. I wonder why you don't see many people doing that?
I put a 160 Metzler on my 05 Heritage. Didn't have to do any modifications at all. The Metzler is a little more narrow than a Dunlop 160. Anything any wider wouldn't fit, plus it would be too wide for the stock wheel. The 160 is pretty close to the belt and the belt guard. Most folks do this change simply for looks. Even though it seems a minor change, it does look a lot wider. Ride is still the same. life's still the same.
My dealer just fit the Michelin Commander 150/80/16 on my stock
spoke wheel with no major mods I'm aware of.
I pick her up today and will check clearance and take pics if I have time.
As I understand it the Commanders are very close to the same width as the stock Dunlop 402's.
