I see a few of you are using the Harley goodies Floorboard extensions that move the boards out (not forward) and seem to like them.
I have the floorboard extended forward with the HD reach floorboard pans and like them. I think that my lean angle improved a little by moving the floorboards forward and I like that. My question is how much more do you scrap the floorboards with the Harley goodies extensions that move the boards out (away) from the bike ? They should decrease the lean angle ?
Thanks for the answers, just want to know before I buy.
I just recieved my extensions on Friday. Only took two days for them to get here.
I thought it was just me having to keep moving my feet in to be on the boards, but after adding these units, I can see it wasn't me after all.
I just got rid of my sport bike, so I am some what accustomed to really leaning a motorcycle. Although I try to not drag these boards, the addition of the extensions does not seem to have helped or hurt my lean angle.
I love mine, as well. I have the HarleyGoodies extensions and the HD extended rider floorboards.no problems with the lean angle. HOWEVER, I have my gremlin bellattachedto the inside of theright floorboard, and hanging down about 3 inches, but still 2 - 2 1/2 from the ground. I looked at it yesterday after riding the Hill Country for about 125 miles - it's mangled and beat all to hell!! I've been dragging itin the right turns. of course, to be able to ride the Hill Country of Texas anytime I wanted was the reason I moved to San Antonio 2 weeks ago.
