Default What next?

Hello everyone!

This will be my second summer with my 07 train, and by the way. I LOVEDRIVING MY TRAIN! Only 2 things i have done with it so far. One is the Screamin Eagle slipons. And second is I bought forward control extensions. See the problem is that im 6 foot 7 inches tall. So, the extensions will be first. Bought the extensions cheaper at HD, weird eh? Any other ideasfor longer rides?

Thanks

On longer rides, I found out that a leather seat didn't give me monkey butt like a vinyl seat did. When my butt would get hot and sweaty, it would start to feel uncomfortable. When I changed to a leather seat, my butt thanked me for it. I would think about a leather seat for one idea.

Handle bars I hear can have the biggest impact on any bike, it could make or breakyour riding position.Like apes with your ht may better then the drag bar? A Lepera bones seat put my A$$ about 2 inches back but not so soft on the rear end. I also changed my bars to a tbar because on longer rides neck would get stiff with the stock 28" drag bar on trains. hope this helps you?

Three things that I have found out make a long ride comfortable. #1 is the seat. Find you a good quality seat that does not make your *** go to sleep. #2 is your handle bars and the riding position they put you into. Also how the seat and handle bars work together. #3 is having a way to streach your feet and move them around to different positions

I have the same bike.
on really long rides I sometimes use my passenger pegs for a different riding position.
you might consider bigger grips, I'm not as tall as you but I found the stock grips to be small and uncomfortable.
I'm going to be replacing my seat some time this spring, after 17k of breaking in it's still not very comfortable for anything over 300 miles or so in a day.
