Hinton, Alberta here we tend to get more than our share of winter. Can snow just about any month here.Last summer was real nice and hot until the day I picked up my bike(waited 50 years for that day,my first bike)got 50 miles from and ran into hail. Thelast bit was aboutnormal, frequent showers. You have to make the best of things and enjoy, or take off to B.C. for nice weather.LOL
Livin in Victoria BC, we get two seasons. Wet and dry. Right now mostly wet, but the occasional day where we have black ice. Last week they had a snow fall warning..... Get this, a warning for 5cm of snow. Never did get it. I'm originally from the other island on the far east coast where 5cm is a good day during the winter. Movingto Halifax this summer. A shorter riding season but away from these tree huggers.
Well here in Winnipeg it has been -763 for the last 2 months, the bike (07 standard) is sitting in the garage and all the tins are in the basement with the new paint waiting for warmer weather so I can start bolting the bike back together...Black with pearl silver ghost flames...stage 1 with 2 1/4 inch Donnie Smith Big Mama's to help belch the used gases away...remind me why do we live here ????
Well...I live on Vancouver Island and today Igot3 hours of riding in. It was a little chilly, plus 8 I guess, but you gear up and it's ok. I also took a week in January and a buddy and I drove to Vegas with the bikes loaded in the back of my truck. Rode around for 5 days, then home. 24 hours in the truck to get there, drove straight shot down...easy with two drivers. I moved out here specificaly to be able to ride in the winter, so far so good. Tree hiuggers don't seem to be bothering me too much.
Windsor Ontario....the southern tip of Canada. Still have a bit of snow but it's raining today and melting the snow. I'm getting tired of just looking at my bike.
