Default samson duals

anyone running the samson longtails? how do you like the sound/fit /finish? would you buy them again? I've looked at the v&h duals but i prefer the look of the samsons. my bike is a 07 deluxe and i think they would be perfect but i cant seem to find anyone that has them.

I have 'em. They look real cool and sound good but the V&H have much more sound (more of a "CRACK"). The cool thing w/ the samson's is the tip is molded into the muffler and looks a little better than the V&H tip. Anyway, I like them, they look good on my springer.

I have the Samson Chopper Longtails on my 07' Deluxe. The fit is really well matched and the quality is as good or better than any of the other pipes I've seen. The sound is more subtle than you might think, but still gives a nice deep growl. People have told me they could ride behind me without reaching for the Q-tips. That's my 2nd favorite thing about them.

The overall look of the pipes are my favorite feature. They just look damn good.

I have the Samson True Dual System “Cholo†w\2 ¼†Heat Shield & 39†Long Tail Mufflers. The look and style is just what I was after without having custom pipes made. The sound is aggressive but not offensive. I am very pleased with my choice as I’m sure you will be.

I have Samson True Duals on my 05 Softail Deluxe. Love Em. I ran them without baffels at first but needed a little back pressure so I added the 10" balffels. Still sound great!

My Samsons worked out great, sound good, fitted with no issues, when I purchased the Samsons for my 07 the V&h werent out yet, after seeing V&H's fishtails, Im glad I went with the Samsons.

I've got the 33" straight pipes on my deluxe. Sound great. They go past the rear fender about 5".

I have the dual, and I love the look.

The down side is they are cooking the back of my thighs, and if it is a leak I can't find it. I may just need to play with more maps for the power commander.
