Default confusion

the two cells that are left in my brain are not seeing things the same. I'm looking at a 1999 night train that is for sale. On the side of the air cleaner it says "80 cubic inches" but looking at some time lines for harley's they say that in 1999 HD went with the 88 cubic inch engine for bikes including the Night Train. Which one is right? thanks for the help

In 99 they went 88 ci. on the touring and dynas. The softail remained 80 ci. evo. It was also the first year for the nightrain.
