Have them on my '07 FLSTC in photo. Love the sound, great rumble. At first thought the were a bit too loud but have gotten used to them and wouldn't change. When I added the big sucker and PCIII the heat from the engine really reduced. Make sure you have the bike dyno'd, the map recommended was so lean they couldn't even run on the dyno until it was richened up a bit. Enjoy.
Are you gonnagetting just the python slip-on's or the entire exhaust? If you just go the slipons, let us know how they sound. I'm thinking about getting a set.
which pythons are you thinking about getting I just switched out a pair of Python 3's full pipes
slash cut staggered theyhad very good performance and the soundhad avery deep (throaty)
chug to them but I switched them out for some rineharts that also sound deep. You can't go wrong with Pythons plus the prices are good. good luck
I had P-3's slip ons on my 88"tc with a stg 1 a/c and Sert. Made good hp and tq but only after 3 grand. Would pull hard after 3-g though. Not the ideal set up riding in the mountians where you want your power band in the lower rpm range. Sounded bad azz especially gettin it thru the gears..
Python 3 Tapered.
I'm not blown away by the looks, but they sound civilized when I need them to, and roar when I want them to. They're also a pretty good match for the S&S Super E.
Yep..Python's are good stuff. Made by V&H and they are built with the same quality. Good chrome too. I liked the Python Big Shot staggards better because the heat shieldsdon't have a break close to the tips like the V&H pipes do.
