Want a unit I can mount to the handlebars, easily remove when not needing it, it needs an intercom to talk to momma on the back, and CB to talk to the rest of the bunch when on the road. Don't want a big whip antenna hanging off the back either... I know a few folks with a J & M setup and I've seen the Chatterbox stuff on their web site..
I installed the J&M on my '08. It is a CB, and comes with weatherband, and has a plug for an MP3 player, or anything else you wish to plug in. It is NOT removable. If you run and hide the wiring correctly, it is a clean setup. I have the 2' antenna, but after using their bracket, I made my own as theirs had a bit to much angle, and I didn't like the antenna sitting at a 60 degree pitch. Otherwise, all is good.
