Welcome home and thanks for your service. And enjoy that Deluxe. A Deluxe was my first choice but a Heritage suited my needs more. One of my sons has just arrived in Kuwait for a little stint....3 month maybe....you know how that goes.....
I will try to answer the questions in one post since the game is on and the alcohol is taking control of my logic
Abnmarine--I am stationed at Ft Bragg
55chevorlet--I ordered from overseas military sales (AAFES)---If I had kept the bike stock with no additions--it would have been $3K cheaper than the same bike sitting at Cape Fear HD. I added profile rims, ext warranty and alarm and even though I had to go the DMV and pay the taxes out of pocket---I ended up with all those extras and my bike was still $600 cheaper than the stock bike sitting on the floor.
Thanks all for the love. I will post pics as soon as things slow down and can stop playin "Mr. Fixit" around the house. It's to be expected though---I was gone for a year. But on the bright side---I have managed to spend about $700 bucks in the two days I've been here just on chrome.
