Fat Daddy feedback
Right now I am only going to get the front, I didn't get a chance to install the bags yet, so I want to see how much of the rim is covered from the bags before I think about buying the rear.
I have never heard ofthose things happening. I am interested if that is the case. I do like the fact you can run tubeless tire with them. My buddy order a pair of powder coated wheels with twisted spokes (not the fat daddys) and the manufacture recomended buying polished stainless spokes over chrome. He indicated in the process of chroming the spokes can become briddle and break. That is all I have heard. If and when I get a pair of fat daddys I will be buying them from ridewright wheels. Very good quality.
Moggsy - What rotors have you got there and where did you pick them from? Wheels look great.
Plasmadaddy - Mean bike. Did you import the wheels yourself? If so where from. I work in london, where abouts are you? Yeah, the roads here are BAD!!
The UK weather is killing my laced profiles on my deluxe. How is everyone elses holding up?

Hey Rob
I'm in N W London but I work in the City (not a banker or trader unfortunately!!) how about you?
I had the wheels imported through Nick Gale Customs in Wembley, just round the corner from the Ace Cafe. They took bloody ages but I think they're well worth the wait!
Cheers

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
I was looking at the fat daddy rims, but before I do buy what are the cons.? I heard the spokes loosen up, break off and dont take bumps to good... which causes the rims (spokes)to go off balance. any ffeedback is appreciated.

I then bought a set of Hallcraft "Texas Big Spokes." 46 big spokes laced radially, and again like the A.W.W. the spokes were bent at the hub. Mine lasted 3 years. I found 9 cracks in the hub from the spoke holes to the outside of the flange. Again my front rim is fine. I do have a pretty hot 95" motor. I don't know if it was torque or bumps in the road that caused the failure. Hallcrafts went out of business. I'm holding the bag.
I see the Ride Rights hub uses straight spokes and this might eliminate the weak flange problem. I thought about using my Hallcraft front and buying a Ride Right rear, but instead opted for Harley's 80 spoke. I know Harley will be around. I still like the look of those big spokes though!
