Looking for pipes for my 08 NT, and was curious if any others in the softail community have used HOOKER pipes on their bikes? Any feedback is appreciated, pros / cons and the whys. Thanks!
I ran Fourbidden Darksides on mine for about a year. They scraped but my bike is lowered. Probably a little louder than the Big Radius 2-2 that I had. Noticeable heat around the leg. Not too impressed with the black finish. I've since gone back to my Pro Pipe.

Yes, they drag pavement occasionally, so did my thunderheader, I am used to scraping pegs and pipes thought it was part of the riding experience lol...

I've only had my Fourbiddens about a few weeks but I love em' The sound is great and the look is stand alone. I got mine on e-bay, $400. The bike really breaths now.

The Forbiddens with o2 bungs should be available soon. Holley (owner of Hooker) actually has my 07 standard there now using it to determine the placement for the o2 bungs for the new line of forebiddens available soon. They also used my bike for the design of the troublemakers with the o2 bungs. Pretty cool knowing my bike had something to do with all of this. Almost puts a tear in my eye. lol

which pipes make more power w/stock 96".
I've seen claims of 13.5 HP for the fourbiddens,
and I have seen claims of 20+ for trouble makers.

They are supposed to do some dyno pulls on my bike with stock pipes and then with their pipes and my power commander/se air cleaner combo. I'll let you know when I get the results

77hp and 88 ft/lbs torque with forbiddens, power commander, and se air cleaner kit. changed back to v&h bss and lost 4 hp. Just for kicks put factory air cleaner back on and lost additional 4 hp. Note: these pulls were with exact same map in commander. May be able to adust map and get more hp from each. Just dyno'd to find difference with the two different exhausts and everything else the same.

before my bike had the big bore kit with just the fourbiddens, a pro hypercharger and a PCIII it dyno'd at 79 HP and 89 TQ. i never had it dyno'd when it was stock, but ive been told they will put about 60-65 HP and 70-75 TQ to the ground when they are stock.
