Thanks for the reply.....notice extra heat shield on front pipe. Problem with heat on the right leg?
Yes, funny you should ask, I would never feel the heat on my leg but I began to wonder why the right leg to all of my jeans were coming apart at the seams. There was also melted nylon on the pipes. Turns out, the pipes were melting the inseam stitching out on my pants....lol The home made heat shield did the trick. On the plus side, the ceramic coated pipes do run much cooler and are a breeze to clean when something melts on them.

Good story.....what do you use to clean the pipes? Will the ceramic scratch easy with wrong cleaning? I guess it would be like any other similar surface, cant use abrasives.

I put a set of the black fourbidden's on my 07 night train. i picked up a lot a low end torque, i also got the 103 big bore kit installed with ported heads and throttle body with 255 cams. and my bike dyno'd at 101 HP and 115 TQ.

the exhaust has an extremly unique sound, and an awesome look. a few people have asked it i made them.

I may tick some people off here, but I have always been a fan of drag pipes, so loud sounds good to me. I'm not one to go draggin' through the neighborhood, I just think a Harley should have a certain sound.

With that said, do the Fourbiddens carry a drag pipe sort of sound? Are they baffled?

They certainly sound different than straight pipes but they are every bit as loud. If you like loud exhaust the fourbiddens won't let you down. They have a removable baffle, I have tried them with and without the baffel and it doesn't change the sound much. I use the baffel because IMO it makes the bike sound more tuned (deeper) and it's still very loud. The baffel also reduces the decel popping quite a bit. My bike is among the loudest in the bunch I ride with including shovels with drag pipes. I guess you need to decide what it is that you like about the drag pipes. If it's the sound, the fourbiddens sound much different and you may not like them. If it the loudness, you would have no problem with the fourbiddens, they are very loud.

As far as cleaning them, mine are ceramic coated so they are much harder to scratch than chrome or paint. I use the OL's dish sponge with great success. scotchbrite type abrasives work great.

Not that I have found. But, if your run with a fuel mgt system on your 07/08, that eliminates the o2 sensor (with bypass), such as PCIII, then these pipes would be fine. Thats what I am thinking.

They do have a baffle but its only about 3 inches long, and it is removeable, alothough ivenever taken mine out, cause i love the way it sounds with it. It has a very impressive sound, and my neighbor who rides a dressor has even told me that he is never gonna ride behind me again, cause the pipes are so damn loud.
