Anyone have a seat from Le Pera? I was looking for a nice seat, maybe a 2-up. I thinking for a solo maybe an up front bare bones cause I'm only 5'5", but then I need a matching fender bib. Where could I get one? Also for 2-up the 2-up Silhouette? Any info would be great for seats. Pictures would be even better. And the lady at Le Pera said they don't have passenger pillions for the bare bones for the 200 series fenders.
i have the bare bones for around town and the bike came w/ a le pera 2 up that is nice for the longer trips or for 2 up, i think its a 2 up Silhouette. I'm only 5'8 and and a up front see would be nice, i almost fly off the back of the bike doing 100+ or if it gets traction from a light on the bare bones though(not much holding you on the bike w/ it)
I really like the bare bones for riding without the ol' lady, just wondering what to do about the plastic because I eventually have to ride 2 up also. Thats why I was thinking about getting 2 seats the other needing a little more cushion than the stock on a night train.
I actually just got a Silhouette gel solo a couple of days ago from Eastern Performance...haven't had a chance to road test it yet, but it sits good and looks great...gotta put some miles on it...probably gonna go with a fender bib, and so far about the only ones I've seen have been from Mustang, or custom made...
anyone know of another source?
You could get the solo seat you wanted and then just get a pillion pad with the suction cups that will just stick to your fender. If you go that route, just make sure to clean the area before you stick the p-pad on. Otherwise you might wind up putting small scratches in the paint.

yeah i was thinking on going that route that way the wife can put on a nice thick pad so she won't complain about her butt hurting and all i have to do is pop it off and call it a day.
