i think its been coverd before, but search isnt working?
im goin to be lowering my front 1" and my rear 1.5" to maybe 2". i want to know if the stock jiffy stand will be ok or should i order a -1"..if so where can i get one at a good price thnx
Pull the stock jiffy off, heat it, bend it a tad, reinstall, check for lean angle, ride!
So.... no chance in doing this weakening the jiffy stand? I'm just asking...
I knew their had to be a simple fix for this.
To the original poster..........Yes you'll need to do something. I've got mine dropped front and rear right now. I have to swing the bike over to the right pretty far just to get my jiffy stand down. The bike sits almost straight up too.
pococj, I just noticed your sig and profile... I'm thoroughly confident you wouldn't have recommended doing that if it weakened the jiffy stand....[sm=escape.gif] [8D]
