I like the clean look of my Deuce but find myself wishing I had a set of saddle bags and maybe a windshield. I like the looks of the bike better without them but I think those items would come in handy. Do any of you Deuce owners have the saddle bags and detachable windshield? Are both easily removable? If you have a pic. of your scoot with them on could you post it so I can see what they look like?
I'm thinking about the saddlebags for my Deuce but I have the same problem of yours, The bike looks better without the saddlebags and I need them so much, Sorry can't help with this one.
about the windshield it'll give your Deuce the touring look same as the saddlebags, So if you like the touring look install the saddlebags and the windshield.
I have the detachable windshield installed on my deuce for the winter months.... doesn't look too bad at all. Almost un-noticeable. These are the best pictures I have... but none of the view from the front.
No bags but I run a windscreen year round... it is small enough that it helps with ride comfort and sand-face small enough and with style that it doesn't detract too much from the bike. Here are a couple pics.
i have a 02 deuce with both worked good for 45000 miles when i put it down the bags help to save it BUT for going on trips i take my 200 tire cop bagger that is cooler that most bikes!
