i receved a pc111 was going to put on there is no way in hell this will fit under seat? i have a 07 softail custom. dose any one know any thing about this please help. Dee
It should come with instructions. If not you can find them on the Power Commander site. Mine fit behind the mudguard, at the top. Which is basically behind the seat. You attach it there with those twist tie things.
Was pretty easy, to remove the mud guard I think it was 2 bolts.
Good luck, that pc thing made a big difference to my ride.
That's the problem with the newer Softails not enough room under the seat!herein theUKwe have ditched the PC's in favour of the Kytech unit which is the size of a credit card and about 7mm thick, and fits between the battery and the frame rail.
i have directions but the braceis solaid betwen fender and mud gard no way to get it between the too.
Ok, but I think what your problem is, is that you are not removing the mud guard completely. Once you take the 2 bolts out at the bottom you have to push up and the whole guard will come out. Once out you put the main wiring harness through the bracket, by ECM, and then use the twist ties; or braceis as you call them; to tie the pc111 unit to the frame.
I'ts best to feed the twist ties through first and then put pc111 in place, and then slip the twist ties through the small holes in the pc111, that hold it in place.
I put mine behind the mudguard as well. I kept my USB cord plugged into the PCIII and routed it back up under the seat area so dynotuning would be easier.

Same here, and the dyno made all the difference in the world!
i think i got it i put part of wire down hole found some room to put on top seat is seting on top of wire ane pc111 but i think it is ok runs good. at best it is a micky mouse set up for what you pay i would tell any one to do something else thanks to all of you Dee
yeah, I think you got it now. It don't fit so good at first, but once your butt has sat on that fat *** wire for a few hours it gets pounded down pretty good.
Oh, and that's a good idea up top with the usb wire thing. Wish I knew how to fix it up to the comp. I asked this guy Jamie to do that tuning chit for me so I wouldn't have to mess around with it on a comp. But now I kind of regret it. I'd be nice to be able to increase the fuel without having to hook it up to a computer.
i think it will be ok it will be easy to get to there. maybe when it gets wamer i will mess with it more.thanks for all the help. allways some one to help here Dee
