If you can't get the center screw in the fuse box in it is probably becuase a wire is in the way and if you force it you could pinch it and have a short. Take the battery box out it makes it easier. Is it a PC III or V, the V fits right under the seat.

PCIII will fit under the seat too....just need to move things around carefully and mash it in there.

Take a look at the install video on FuelPak's website, it may help. I fit my PCIII under the ECM, and have the main plug under the seat. I don't see how you can fit both under the seat.

If I remember, I didn't put both the pcIII and connectors under the seat. I was able to get the connection down near the ecm and the pcIII is under the seat. Just takes a little work.

Think about it. To do any updates to the pcIII, you have to remove the seat before removing the side cover. Why not just put it under the seat and ONLY have to remove the seat to make updates.

There is a trick to it. I put a mustang vintage seat on yesterday and had to move the pcIII from under my seat to under the ecm like they say to do. You're right, it's tight in there. I don't have the security , but here's a trick you can try.
Make sure the PCIII usb port is towards the rear tire with the big cable wrapping underneath it. You'll need to tuck it all in from the right side of the fuse box. So after you get all those PCIII wires pushed back in there, pull the gray one through and connect it to the ecm. Connect the stock gray plug into the black PCIII plug. Now the tricky part. If you look to the right of the fuse box, you'll see the frame bar running down from under the tank and angles down below the seat. Carefully push the gray and black plug connection in front of that angled piece of the frame. Keep the PCIII right under the ecm, i did not velcro it. Then before you side it all back in, look down through the seat hole and look for any wires that will block that center screw that you could not get to thread. Carefully push the wires out of the way and push the fuse box back in place. Put in the 2 top screws and tighten, but not all the way tight. Take a flashlight and look into that center screw hole to see if there is anything in the way and that the hole is lined up. If it's clear, you're good to go, if not, you may need to take the top 2 screws off and move the wire again. Look at the pdf on their site, and look closely at the pics of those 2 big connectors and you'll see what i mean about putting them in front of the frame.
I hope this helps.
