Nice bike dude.I would ditch the football a/c and put a round nostalgic one on.Also change the grips and boards/pegs to a style you like. Then maybe some nice wheels and bars. The list is endless.
Good luck.

Here's what I would do:

- Lower the rear about 1-1/2" with either a bolt lowering kit or Progressive shocks. (The Progressives would be more comfortable)

- Shorter Windshield. If you plan on riding with the windshield all the time, I would switch to a Windvest. In my opinion, it would be less distracting to the overall look of the bike. Also, because of it's design, it's short enough to look completely over, yet allows the wind to go over your head.

- Change the air cleaner. I would add something like one of the Wimmer velocity stacks that actually has a filter in it also. They even make a rain/dust cover for it just in case you get caught in some weather. It would open up the side of the bike more and really let that motor be seen.

- Take off the hub cap up front. I think the front wheel would look better if it was opened up more.

- Spokes. I would add some diamond cut spokes to the front and rear. It's a subtle change, but it looks great on a sunny day. The diamond cut spokes catch the light and look great.

- Laydown license plate holder.

- Smoked turnsignal covers for front and rear.

- Chrome front end with no reflectors.

- Chrome swingarm

- Chrome brake rotors

- Chrome pulley cover

- Mini ape bars

- Round nostalgic style mirrors

- Chrome rear axle covers

- Chrome timer cover

- Replace stock horn cover with a vintage style horn. You can find them from JP Cycles pretty cheap.

That's just some things I would do. I'm not sure if the things I listed are your taste or not. That's what customizing is all about....Making the bike your own. You have a great looking bike. I wouldn't mind having one to customize myself. Have fun!

L2R,
Your starting to worry me again.
Didn't you promise me that you WOULD faithfully attend theAA meeting with Deuce?
It sounds like your having a bit of a relapse with that list of mods.
Don't you think its about time to call your sponsor for a little bit of[sm=helpout.gif].

My advice is to yake everyone elses advice and do what makes you happy, don't do it because someone else thinks is will look good, and don't let them keep you from doing something you like either. It is your bike and if you think it looks good who cares what everyone else thinks.

I have been attending. I was told it's ok to think about it, as long as I don't act on it.

My bike hasn't had anything added to it in about a month now. I have to admit it's killin' me, though.......

These are all great idea's. I appreciate everyone's input....
Here's some things i have already/getting ready to put on, and some things i want to do

The obvious:
BR pipes
Diamond plate footboards, grips, passenger pegs
chrome/tinted turn signals (got rid of those ugly orange turns)
Chrome swingarm inserts

The not so obvious:
PCIII
Big sucker intake.

Things I've already ordered:
Chrome front lower forks
Front caliper chrome cover
Hogdeluxe rear fender bib

Some things i would still like to do
Definetely get rid of reflectors
Lay down license plate- or relocate beneath taillight........ Anyone know a good place to get it????
Lower rear 1-2 inches......... Can the 08 still be lowered???
Raise tank..............Again, anyone know a good place to get the tank lift kit?
round intake cover
Chrome swingarm/lower belt guard
Rear mudflap

I was thinking too, flush mount Fuel caps...... Which i'd like to get powdercoated white pearl to blend in with the tank

Thats about it so far
I would still like to hear more input......You guys have been great.....Thanks
