Default Touchy ignition switch

Got an 06 fatboy and notice that when i flip the ignition/acessories switch on the tank panel it doesn't always luminate the odometer window. Also the speedo needle doesn't work until i wiggle the switch a little bit. Feels like there might be a connector going bad ....anybody have this problem? Also I'm a month out from my warrenty expiring...should I just brave the weather and have dealer look at it. Any suggestions appreciated.

I'd take it in. Murphy's law will probably catch you and it will go out altogether right after your warranty is up. If it ain't right, it ain't right. I have no qualms about taking my bikes in for the smallest thing. When I spend that much on something I expect it to last.
