Hi guys,
i am seriously thinking about buying a new Cross Bones but i am concerned about the single pot caliper on the front and i was just wonderingwhat you guys that have boughtthink aboutthe brakes? how do they and the handling in general compare to other harleys? thanks in advance.
It seems to be the same set-up they have been using on FLSTS's since 97...The single piston stock brake is not the greatest...Hawg Halter makes a direct bolt-on in chrome or black. 4 Piston..Nice set-up.
I couldn't be happier! Great ride, handling, and braking. Brakes just like my Dyna did. I wouldn't recommend buying one though, pretty soon everyone will have one.
It handles more like a big bike, but the ride is great. It's still stock, so it couldn't hang with the SG in a drag race. That really suprised me. It's no dog, but I expected the TC96 to be more powerful compared to the TC88. We'll see here in a couple weeks what some new pipes, intake, and PCIII do for it.
